"I have loved living here on Seneca Street for the past 6 years. I've particularly enjoyed hosting and cooking with friends in the bright and spacious kitchen diner. The combination of the large dining table and kitchen island has been perfect for entertaining. Having an additional and separate reception room has also been such a bonus and has allowed me to get the balance of being sociable and having privacy when living with someone. I've been solo here, as well as having a lodger at various points, and the spaces work extremely well, whatever the scenario. With the most excellent set of neighbours you could hope for, and St Georges park literally at the bottom of the road (a huge reason for moving here). I've had Summer picnics and BBQs, winter snow days, and many strolls around the lake...it's an ace location! My dog Violet will miss it for sure."
Seneca Street is situated in St George, between Church Road and Avonview Cemetery, which occupies a large space above the River Avon and its riverside walks. St George’s Park is across Church Road from Northcote Road and is one of the city’s most popular parks providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a cafe, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with Seneca Street near to the very popular Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much loved Bristol Loaf, The Dark Horse and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. The shops and cafes of Easton are also easily accessible via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, including East Bristol Bakery, Garden of Easton, and Bristol Sweet Mart. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters, it is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.
